Since the bring down of monarch rule and oust the King Kigeli V Ndahindurwa who died early last year, Rwanda was one of the central-east African countries that characterized by ethnic based political chaos which led to the 1994 Genocide against Tutsis in Rwanda

In1994 when Rwanda was ignored by United Nations, President Paul Kagame was a rock star singing a song of hope; he led Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF-Inkotanyi) to stop the Genocide.

Tears were wiped away and now Rwanda classified among the fastest growing economy in the world, it is hailed to be peaceful and the beautiful place to visit in this year where unity and reconciliation is over 90 per cent among citizens.

Under President Paul Kagame from 2000 to 2014 GDP grew to 8%, revenues from tourism rose to $294 million from $62million and foreign grants lowed to 30.3% from 48.3% between 2000 and 2013.

2017 was supposed to be the end of President Paul Kagame second term in office but a renewed national constitution he allows him to compete for another term after that Rwandans flowed into streets to ask the amendment of the 2003 national constitution; Rwandans voted ‘’YES’’.

The ‘’YES’’, we voted means Development, security, patriotism, hardworking and that we want #PK to lead us at least another seventeen years to come.

Under President Paul Kagame:

 Have you get an Idea?
